Gatsby notes and thoughts chapter 7

• Gatsby is apparently sick
• Nick asks Gatsby why he fired all of his servants and responds back with "I wanted somebody who wouldn't gossip."
• Nick visits Tom's house where Daisy and Jordan happen to be at
• Daisy kisses Gatsby after Tom leaves again
• Daisy straight says she loves Gatsby in front of Tom
• After that Tom agrees with Daisy to go to town
• 1.Gatsby stops having parties because he is sick.
• 2. Gatsby fires his staff because he "wanted somebody who wouldn't gossip. He replaces them with servants who haven't been to West Egg.
• 3. Gatsby reacts to Daisy's child with surprise while Daisy seems happy?
• 4.Gatsby wants Daisy to tell Tom she loves Gatsby but Daisy doesn't make a decision at all so Tom wins.
• 5. Tom's mistress gets run over by Daisy.
• 6. Daisy, after she ran over Tom's mistress and Gatsby took the blame, she locks herself in hr room. I see her taking this action as her not taking responsibility
